I've never been the kind of guy who knows exactly where he's going--sometimes I'm not even sure where I am and how I got there--but when I know, you'll know. Check in periodically to see where I'll be, and if we're lucky you might find yourself there as well. Come to events I take part in, buy my books and have them signed, or just drop in to say hi.
- East Sandy Elementary visit, March 4 @ 1:30 p.m.
I'll be presenting an assembly on narrative to the 3-6th grades. - UELMA Spring Conference, Mountain View High, March 5.
I'll be preseting a breakout session on why the first Goosebumps book and Great Expectations are pretty much the same story, reveal who plays the Darth Vader role in Pride and Prejudice, and assert that the only poor story is a story not read. - League of Utah Writers Spring Workshop, May 15th from 9 - 11:00 a.m.
I'll be presenting a workshop on characterization and triple-duty writing, meaning how to achieve all three objectives of story at once. Free for all League members. More information pending. - Provo Childrens' Book Festival, Provo Library (550 N. University Avenue, Provo, UT)
I believe I will be reading from Green Dragon Codex in the afternoon. Other guests include keynote speaker Laura Vaccaro Seeger, Brandon Mull, Shannon Hale, and many more. More information pending.
