		<description>A couple of questions about the downloadable study guides:  Did you write them?  Other than theme, they don&#039;t really address reading strategies; is that something you think children should be taught?  I&#039;m interested in how you, as a children&#039;s writer, think children should approach books.  Vocabulary, comprehension, et al. are good, but what about deep reading (i.e. critical theory)?  Do you think that&#039;s something children can and should learn or no?</description>
